SpeedBox App
The third generation smart chip with the ability to set the speed limit of your electric bike.
The SpeedBox 3.0 kit allows you to select and set the speed limit according to your choice. Once the SpeedBox is installed, real data such as current speed, maximum speed, average speed, mileage and range are displayed on the screen.
How does SpeedBox 3.0 work?
The SpeedBox 3.0 is activated on the e-bike control box. After pressing the WALK button, the speed of 9.9 km/h (6.1 mph) will briefly appear on the display. From this moment on you can ride at unlimited speeds - 40 km/h (25 mph), 50 km/h (30 mph), even more than 60 km/h (37 mph).
To deactivate the SpeedBox, press the WALK button again. The speed limit becomes active again. The e-bike works the same way as before the chip was installed.
We have also thought about bikes that do not have the usual control box and where there is no WALK button. In these cases, simply press the arrow buttons in the following order: + - + - and the SpeedBox becomes activated. In the same way you will deactivate the SpeedBox.
You can set the maximum speed using the mode change: Turbo - EMTB - Tour - Eco - Tour - EMTB - Turbo. Then the current speed limit will be displayed on the screen. To change the maximum speed, briefly press the WALK button or turn the rear wheel 360°. Each turn of the wheel changes the maximum speed.
The displayed value of 1.5 km/h corresponds to the 15 km/h limit, 2.0 corresponds to the 20 km/h limit, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds to 30 km/h, 9.9 corresponds to 99 km/h, etc. The last displayed limit will be saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.
After finishing the ride, you will see on the screen the time (in minutes), during which you have to leave the bike on. Leave the bike on until the speed 0.0 km/h is displayed on the screen. Right after you can turn off the bike.
