The second generation chip tuning for your Yamaha electric bike.
The SpeedBox 2.0 for Yamaha removes the speed limiter from your e-bike. Once the SpeedBox is installed, real data such as current speed, maximum speed, average speed, mileage and range are displayed on the screen.
How does SpeedBox 2.0 work?
You must activate the SpeedBox 2.0 when controlling your electric bike by pressing the light button = LIGHT.
By pressing this button, the speed of 9.9 km/h (6.1 mph) will briefly be displayed on the screen. From this point on, you can ride at unlimited speeds – 40 km/h, 50 km/h and even over 60 km/h. You can deactivate the SpeedBox by pressing the light button = LIGHT again. The speed limit of 25 km/h is then reactivated. The e-bike then works in the same way as before installing the de-restriction kit.
We have also thought about bikes that are not equipped with a classic control with the light button. In these cases, just press the arrow buttons ↑ ↓ ↑ ↓ and the SpeedBox will be activated. To deactivate the SpeedBox, press the arrows in the same way.
Using this arrow combination it is possible to adjust the SpeedBox and the lights independently.
