This reworked tuning kit, with completely new hardware and firmware and with Bluetooth technology, is intended for your electric bike with a Shimano motor.
SpeedBox 1.2 B.Tuning provides a unique connection between the electric bike and your mobile phone. The chip is optimized down to the smallest details for better performance and maximum enjoyment of your ride. The kit removes the speed limit of the electric bike and you can enjoy your ride at unlimited speed.
With your SpeedBox App you can view all the details of your activities on your mobile phone and save them. After pairing with the SpeedBox App, you will see the trip data on the mobile phone screen and you can set the maximum assistance speed according to what suits you. Track and save all the parameters of your rides on your phone screen. Anytime and anywhere.
Compared to previous SpeedBoxes for Shimano, this product is also plugged into the E-Tube port. It is therefore necessary that the motor of the e-bike, on which you want to install the new version of the SpeedBox, has a free E-Tube Port. Without having a free E-Tube Port, it is not possible to install the SpeedBox.
The E-Tube Port is usually not free when the bike is equipped with a Di2 automatic derailleur or when the power button is integrated into the bike frame - this is the Satellite System ON/OFF Switch (EW-SW100, EW-SW300).
How does the B.Tuning SpeedBox work?
This unlocking kit is also characterized by its ease of use. You can activate the SpeedBox 1.2 B.Tuning in your portable app or on the console by pressing the LIGHT button.
When the lights are off, you can ride at unlimited speed. You can easily deactivate the SpeedBox by turning on the lights. A new feature of this version is the ability to activate the double-click function in the app (only for displays that have the LIGHT button - E5003, E5000, E6010, E6100). By activating this function, the lights become independent of the SpeedBox. By double-clicking the LIGHT button, the lights will flash and the SpeedBox will turn on. A new double-click deactivates the setting and the e-bike will work the same way as before. You can set the maximum assistance speed in the app.
