The SpeedBox 1.0 allows you to remove the speed limiter from your e-bike. When using the kit, the actual speed is displayed up to 22 km/h, then the speedometer remains fixed and the same speed is displayed, even at higher speeds.
How does SpeedBox 1.0 work?
If you don't have lights on your bike, the SpeedBox 1.0 for Shimano will always be activated. If you use the lights, you can operate the SpeedBox 1.0 freely. The SpeedBox is activated/deactivated on the control box of your e-bike. If the lights are off, the SpeedBox is activated. You can easily deactivate the SpeedBox by switching on the lights.
