The third generation smart chip with the ability to set the speed limit of your electric bike.
The SpeedBox 3.0 kit allows you to select and set the speed limit according to your choice. Once the SpeedBox is installed, real data such as current speed, maximum speed, average speed, mileage and range are displayed on the screen.
How does SpeedBox 3.0 work?
The SpeedBox 3.0 is activated on the e-bike's control box. After pressing the LIGHT or ↑↓↑↓ button, the speed of 99 km/h (61 mph) will briefly appear on the display. From this point on you can ride at unlimited speed.
To deactivate the SpeedBox, press the LIGHT or ↑↓↑↓ button again. The speed limit becomes active again. The e-bike works the same as before the chip was installed.
We have also thought about bikes that do not have the usual control box. In these cases, simply press the arrow buttons in the following order: + - + - and the SpeedBox becomes activated. In the same way you will deactivate the SpeedBox.
You can set the maximum speed by changing the mode three levels down and then three levels up. Then the current speed limit will be displayed on the screen. To change the maximum speed, briefly press the WALK button or turn the rear wheel 360°. The last displayed limit will be saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.
