The new SpeedBox B.Tuning brings a unique connection between your e-bike and your mobile phone. The SpeedBox B.Tuning kit is adjusted down to the last detail to be efficient and so that you can enjoy your rides to the fullest. Our tuning kit allows you to deactivate the speed limit of your e-bike so that you can enjoy unlimited speed while riding your bike. Thanks to your SpeedBox App you can view all the details of your activities on your mobile phone and save them. Anytime and anywhere.
How does the B.Tuning SpeedBox 3.0 work?
This debridling kit is also characterized by its ease of use. You can activate the SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning in your mobile app or on the console of your e-bike. By pressing the WALK button, the speed of 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph) is displayed on the control console. From this moment on, you can ride at unlimited speeds – 40 km/h, 50 km/h and even over 60 km/h.
You can deactivate the speed limiter by pressing the WALK button again. In this case, the speed of 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph) will be displayed on the console and the speed limit is thus reactivated. Afterwards the speed limiter works in the same way as before the installation of the speed limiter kit.
We have not forgotten about bikes that do not have the WALK button. In this case, just press the buttons: + - + - and the SpeedBox will be activated. You can easily deactivate the SpeedBox in the same way.
When you first start the SpeedBox App, you will be prompted to enter the PIN code that you must define yourself . This PIN code must be used every time you start the SpeedBox App. After saving the PIN code, you will also be asked to set the service password that will be used in case you forget the PIN or want to change the PIN.
You can set the maximum speed using the mode change: Turbo - EMTB - Tour - Eco - Tour - EMTB - Turbo. Then the current speed limit will be displayed on the screen. To change the maximum speed, briefly press the WALK button or turn the rear wheel 360°. Each turn of the wheel changes the maximum speed.
The displayed value of 1.5 km/h corresponds to the 15 km/h limit, 2.0 corresponds to the 20 km/h limit, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds to 30 km/h, 9.9 corresponds to 99 km/h, etc. The last displayed limit will be saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.
After finishing the ride, you will see on the screen the time (in minutes), during which you have to leave the bike on. Leave the bike on until the speed 0.0 km/h is displayed on the screen. Right after you can turn off the bike.
